We have reached a very exciting stage in our existence; we have an excellent track record of delivering outcomes that have benefited the city of Milton Keynes. We have expertly utilised our portfolio of property and assets to create new high-quality developments, that have brought many new homes, jobs and facilities to the area and achieved positive placemaking outcomes.
But our ambitions stretch beyond this, and we are now looking for a Non-Executive Director to join our Board and help deliver key placemaking projects for the city.
Our Story
Milton Keynes Development Partnership (MKDP) is a Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) owned by Milton Keynes City Council (MKCC). Its primary purpose is to use and develop its portfolio of land assets to advance MKCC’s objectives to develop the city, building on its impressive track record to become an ever-better place to live, socialise, work and conduct business, in line with the Council’s Plan and Plan:MK. Established in 2013 as part of the asset transfer from the Homes & Communities Agency, MKDP operates through a specialist professional team who report to both the MKDP board and MKCC.

MKDP’s managing director is MKCC’s Deputy Chief Executive, Tracey O’Donnell, who oversees the organisation’s professional team. The organisation is led by a board comprising an Independent Chair and three independent Non-Executive Directors. As MKDP looks to the future, we aim to ensure the board continues to have the right skills and experience to support the Executive team in seizing opportunities for the city and delivering the ambitious Business Plan 2024–2027.
